Scope Of Annual Maintenance

We Provide Annual Maintenance services to our clients in which the following scope of work is done;

General / Walk-Around Inspection

  • Coolant level
  • Oil (crankcase) level
  • Leakage, both oil and coolant
  • Fan / Alternator belt condition
  • Air-cleaner element indicator
  • Batteries electrolyte level/battery cables
  • Missing & broken parts
  • Dash Gauges
  • Inspection of exciter and connection

Periodic Maintenance (As & when required)

  • Changing oil & filters
  • Changing coolant and monitoring coolant condition
  • Service/changing air elements
  • Filling Battery Electrolyte
  • Greasing all service points
  • Fan belt adjustment / replacement
  • Valve lash/bridge adjustment
  • Changing fuel filter
  • Governor and throttle control linkages adjustment

Inspection & Testing (when required) (As & when required)

  • Testing engine in under load and off load conditions for general load performance evaluation. Load is to be provided by the client.
  • Functionality testing of safety devices
  • Inspection and testing of all dash and panel gauges
  • Testing Output voltage for fluctuation / adjustment
  • Rectification of all leakages
  • Inspection of water pump
  • Inspection of starting circuit
  • Inspection of charging circuit
  • Inspection of shut down circuit
  • Inspection of fan drive unit
  • Inspection of oil pump

Electric Preventive Maintenance Schedule

  • Monthly dust blow and inspection of the electric panel
  • Monthly dust blowing from the alternator and exciter winding and its inspection
  • Monthly checking of battery condition, electrolyte monitoring and terminals corrosion inspection
  • Monthly checking the governor, AVR and its behavior
  • Quarter yearly manual relay function tests
  • Quarter yearly automatic relay function tests
  • Monthly engine safety tests
  • Quarter yearly checking the mounting bolts of the alternator
  • Quarter yearly checking the rotating diodes and its connection
  • Quarter yearly lubrication of the electric starter

Servicing shall be done after 200 hours then 1000 hours of generator operation, which will include all the jobs as described above, plus checking mounting unit for the turbo charger and tightening if necessary. The client will provide all filter replacements. Servicing of radiator and flushing will be conducted if required.

  • Annual Maintenance Schedule

Two visit every month from the date of confirming the order

Every 200 Hours

  • All the above-mentioned jobs will be carried out.
  • During scheduled visit which is to be carried out by IPS staff, the required maintenance activities will be conducted free of charge this does not include any repair cost.

Every 1000 Hours:

  • All the above-mentioned jobs and checking of tappet clearance, adjustment if necessary.
  • Checking of fuel injectors, servicing them if necessary
  • Servicing of Radiator and flushing if required
